In response to the tragic tornadoes that touched down in Joplin, Mo., and Reading, Kan., this weekend, the Kansas City Royals and Kansas City Chiefs have graciously contributed a combined $70,000 to our disaster-relief efforts.

The Chiefs will also be accepting financial donations for us in LOT C on the east side of Arrowhead Stadium Tuesday, May 24, from noon until 7 p.m. and Wednesday, May 25, from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. The Chiefs broadcast partners—KCTV5, 101 The Fox KCFX and Sports Radio 810 WHB—have also joined the Chiefs in supporting us.

KCTV5 will have a one-hour special Tuesday airing at 9 p.m. CST and will be accepting monetary donations at its studio. Both 101 The Fox KCFX and Sports Radio 810 WHB will broadcast live from Arrowhead on Tuesday afternoon and during the day on Wednesday and will also be accepting monetary donations for our medical response efforts.

Please stop by any of these locations or donate directly now.

Thank you!

Together, we deliver health and hope – inside and out.
