Creating Healthier Communities

Heart to Heart is on a mission to create a healthier world—one community at a time. Though a majority of our humanitarian work is overseas, we do not neglect needs in our own backyard. To that end, we partner with a variety of agencies, schools and universities across the United States in community events that impact health and increase local outreach.

We often participate in community health fairs, using our mobile clinics to enhance local attendance, provide clinical space for provider-patient consultation, and offer laboratory services (when appropriate and requested). Our goal for these events is to connect local residents to local health resources.

We also train individuals and groups in CPR (cardio-pulmonary resuscitation) at our World Headquarters in Olathe, KS as part of our disaster-readiness initiatives, demonstrating how individuals can personally be ready to respond to emergencies around them.
