Delivering Hope

When disaster and tragedy strike, Heart to Heart is there to deliver health and hope. Not only have we created an innovative global-response network with FedEx to provide life-saving supplies to disaster victims anywhere in the world, but we also engage volunteers to help at almost every turn.

• Advance Teams go into disaster zones early to assess the needs, identify the best approach and report their findings, so our response is as effective as possible and does not duplicate local efforts.
• Global Operations (GO) Teams follow on the heels of the Advance Teams and offer critical services at a disaster site. Our GO Teams are comprised of skilled volunteers who provide medical care, address mental trauma, manage our supply chain, and report impact to key stakeholders.
• Readiness-Equipped Volunteer (REV) Teams staff our call center and collection sites to provide critical back-office support. These teams help us respond to disaster victims in a timely and effective manner.
• Unified Professional (UP) Teams provide technical expertise in specific areas during the Recovery and Rebuilding phases of a crisis.
