OLATHE, Kansas/December 6, 2007—Heart to Heart International Inc., a leading global humanitarian organization, announced today that it has launched the Heart to Heart Channel on YouTube.com as a strategy to reach Internet-savvy donors.
“Financial contributors are getting their information on charities like Heart to Heart International from online sources and we want to be as relevant as possible to these prospective donors,” said Pete Brumbaugh, Heart to Heart’s vice president for marketing communications. “YouTube provides us with a viable channel to not only reach donors, but also promote ourselves to future donors.”
Heart to Heart will initially populate its YouTube channel with current video content, but in coming months it expects to post user videos from volunteers and staff during humanitarian initiatives.
