Gary Morsch

Dr. Gary Morsch helped found Heart to Heart International in 1992 and now serves in a voluntary role as our President.

Dr. Morsch has received numerous awards, including the President’s Volunteer Action Award, the Points of Light Community Leadership Award, and the first-ever Humanitarian Award offered by the American Academy of Family Physicians.

He has authored several books. One of them, The Power of Serving Others: You Can Start Where You Are, shares the amazing story of Heart to Heart and introduces the reader to some of the ordinary people whose lives have been transformed by the extraordinary power released when we respond to the needs of others.

Dr. Morsch served in the Army during the Vietnam War, and he is a colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve. He and his wife Vickie have four grown children and reside in suburban Kansas City.
