Jon North

Jon North became Heart to Heart’s CEO in 2002 after serving five years as our Executive Vice President. He has served in various leadership roles within the organization that have given him a broad perspective on such functions as corporate relations, fundraising, programming and operations. During his tenure as CEO, Heart to Heart has grown from a grassroots network in Kansas to become one of America’s top charities. Today, Heart to Heart is a global organization with a local footprint in Kansas City.

Beyond providing strategic leadership to Heart to Heart on a daily basis, North also fosters a culture of learning within the organization. He is an excellent judge of talent and has attracted a team of senior managers that are helping him lead Heart to Heart into a bright future.

North has an undergraduate degree in International Development and an MBA. Besides his civic involvement in groups such as Rotary, North also participates in leadership initiatives with regional, national and international consortiums in the humanitarian sector.

He and his wife Faith have four children and reside in Olathe, Kansas.
