Hurricane Helene Disaster Response

Hurricane Helene left a widespread damage across the Southeastern United States. The storm’s destructive path has impacted multiple states, leaving communities in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee requesting critical intervention.

HHI’s Disaster Response Team has been working with more than150 partners to swiftly mobilize aid in the area including:

  • 22,000 hygiene kits with basic supplies such as wash cloths, hand towels, shampoo, bars of soap, combs, toothbrushes, toothpaste and more.
  • Our medical team to provide direct patient care and relieve local clinics and hospitals.
  • Mobile Medical Vehicles with safe, private, air-conditioned spaces for treatment.
  • Pallets of medicines and medical equipment.
