A partnership between HHI and the American Association of Family Physicians was formed. The partnership was called Physicians With Heart and ultimately conducted 20 airlifts throughout Eastern Europe, Russia and Vietnam. The partnership mobilized people and resources to improve health, provide medical education and foster the development of family medicine worldwide.
