The Big Give*

*We imagine a world in which every person has access to a healthy life.

Heart to Heart International is dedicated to providing critical support to those in need. In commemoration of our first shipment in May 1992, we are launching The Big Give — a special month of giving. The Big Give will raise funds and awareness for our mission to improve access to health for all. During the month of May, we invite you to join us in support of our efforts to provide humanitarian relief, disaster response, and community health programs worldwide. By making a donation to Heart to Heart International, you are joining us in making a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.

$ 1000

*Hygiene Kits

Good personal hygiene is critical to prevent the spread of illness and disease, especially during an emergency, such as a natural disaster. — CDC

In 2022, Heart to Heart International delivered more than 230,000 hygiene kits worldwide to people affected by humanitarian crises.

*Access to Medicine

Billions of people in low- and middle-income countries lack access to essential medicines. — United Nations

HHI has sent more than $2.6 billion in medicines and supplies to 131 countries since its founding in 1992. These essential shipments to under-resourced communities can shift the balance of healthcare from impossible to possible.

*Disaster Response

Natural disasters affect 218 million people and claim 68,000 lives per year. More than 90% of those deaths occur in low-income countries. — Center for Research on the Epidemiology of Disasters

HHI responds to multiple disasters every year by sending aid, including essential medicine and volunteer medical teams, to the hardest-hit communities.

*Laboratories

40% of Americans have put off medical testing or treatment due to cost, and 20% have skipped due to inability to get time off work. — National Library of Medicine

HHI has equipped 40 free or charitable clinics that serve under-resourced communities in the U.S. with point-of-care laboratory testing capabilities. This helps patients with chronic conditions get care effectively and efficiently, leading to better health outcomes.
