what we do
Heart to Heart International strengthens communities through improving health access.
Heart to Heart International supports local organizations working to improve the health of their communities with health programs throughout the United States.
Heart to Heart International
HHI’s KC Programs works to bring together community organizations to help ensure that historically marginalized and underserved populations have access to the healthcare they need.
Together with more than 200 KC partners, we remove barriers and improve health equity. Some examples of the types of services KC Programs offers include: arranging access to reliable transportation to neighborhood health clinics, translating educational materials in various languages, assisting clinics to extend business hours to allow for evening and weekend appointments and offering under or uninsured healthcare services free of charge.
Quality healthcare depends on accurate and timely diagnoses, which often rely on results of laboratory testing.
Heart to Heart International works with health clinics in under-resourced communities to provide point of care testing capabilities. HHI laboratory experts train clinic staff and provide the necessary equipment and supplies for the point of care testing. This testing capability allows clinics to run laboratory tests on site and provide accurate diagnoses and treatments within a patient’s same visit.
Medical Aid Shipments
Heart to Heart International provides medicines, medical supplies, and hygiene supplies to support organizations throughout the United States.
These critical medicines and supplies are distributed to clinics, hospitals, schools, governmental departments and nonprofit organizations working to support medically under-resourced communities.
Give the gift of health when you donate to Heart to Heart International. We are committed to improving healthcare access around the world. When you gift a donation to us, you’re sending ripples of health into the world that will improve multiple lives.
