A Powerful Partnership
Hygiene Kits for Malawi Schools
Heart to Heart International (HHI) is proud to partner with Freshwater Project International to improve water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) in Malawian schools.
Many schools lack clean water and proper sanitation, impacting health, education, and dignity, especially for young girls.
To address this, Freshwater Project International is launching a campaign that will focus on:
- Infrastructure Development
- Water Purification Systems
- Conducting Hygiene Training
Because HHI’s Hygiene Kit program is a core element of our humanitarian work, we are supporting this initiative by sending 8,000 hygiene kits to Malawi.
These kits, filled with essential supplies, promote health, dignity and protection against illness. They will ensure proper sanitation and create a safer and healthier learning environment for children.

Temwa and other KC Current players join the fun to assemble hygiene kits. These kits will be distributed to Temwa’s home village and schools in Malawi, ensuring access to safe water and improved hygiene.

Temwa Chawinga, a proud Malawian and star forward for KC Current, has joined Freshwater as its Brand Ambassador. Passionate about her home country, she is committed to creating lasting change because she has seen firsthand how these initiatives transform lives. The center is also slated to receive some of HHI’s hygiene kits.
