Israeli-Palestinian Response

The events following surprise attacks by Hamas on Israel on October 7 have resulted in a devastating wave of intense fighting and counterattacks across the region.  According to reports from United Nations officials, more than 2,000 people have been killed and more than 300,000 people have been displaced from their homes.

Heart to Heart International is actively coordinating with longstanding partners in the region to deliver critical medicines, medical supplies and hygiene kits to support to the affected communities.

The complexities of delivering aid in this current environment cannot be understated. Nevertheless, we are working closely with our trusted partners to ensure that the aid they have specifically requested can be safely delivered to those who need it most. With our consistent history of providing relief in the area, we are confident the aid we send will be distributed with utmost care and consideration to those affected by this crisis.

  • We have a 40-foot container en route to Gaza containing medicines, medical supplies and hygiene kits. We are prepared to re-route this in coordination with our partners to the West Bank, if it proves impossible to deliver safely to Gaza.
  • We have airlifted nearly 3,000 hygiene kits to people in need in Lebanon.
  • We have sent large shipment of medical and humanitarian aid, including hygiene kits, to be distributed to displaced families in bomb shelters in Israel.

We continue reaching out to partners in the region, prepared to deliver medical and humanitarian aid to people in need. Our dedication to this mission is guided by the humanitarian principles of humanity, impartiality, neutrality and independence. Health is a vital human right that must be preserved and protected.
