Hygiene Kits to Help Haiti Crisis

Haiti faces a growing crisis. Gang violence is displacing families and leaving many struggling for basic necessities. We have a long history of working in Haiti, and the Haitian people hold a special place in our hearts. Jarelin, a bright 12-year-old from the Dominican Republic, has battled health challenges since birth. Doctors gave her a grim prognosis, but Jarelin’s fighting spirit and her mother’s love wouldn’t be deterred.

Eyeglasses Making Clear Difference for Kids

Many children in under-resourced communities struggle with uncorrected vision, hindering their ability to learn and succeed. That’s why we partnered with the KC Free Eye Clinic and University Health to bring vision screenings and eyeglasses directly to students at Melcher Elementary.
