Volunteers needed for COVID-19

March 20, 2020 – We know many in our community are looking for ways to serve while we all adjust to changing life in the midst of COVID-19. Heart to Heart International has two immediate opportunities in conjunction with the Wyandotte County Department of Public Health.

Phone Bank:
HHI is providing volunteer support at a health clinic in KCK for its hotline regarding COVID-19. We are asking volunteers (18 years and older) to sign up for at least one 4-hour shift over the next week. Volunteers will be trained on-site for taking calls and asking screening questions. Volunteers would be located at the clinic. We are looking for people starting tomorrow. Please sign-up here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/5080B4AADAD2CA7FC1-covid

Patient Follow-Up:
HHI is also looking for 10 volunteers (18 years old and older) with more consistent availability to conduct patient follow-up calls for those who have experienced symptoms related to COVID-19. These volunteers are needed beginning Monday, March 23. Volunteers would need to be available for 4-6 hours Monday – Friday. Contact courtney.leeper@hearttoheart.org for more information.

Thank you to all our volunteers and supporters. We are all in this together, and we’re grateful for all that you do.
