It’s still possible that your employer will match your donation, even if you don’t find your company on our list. Check with your company’s HR manager and ask if your donation can be matched. If your company would like to feature Heart to Heart International as a beneficiary for employee giving efforts, we would be happy to help them start promoting it in the workplace.
Yes! It’s not too late to apply for a matching gift. Many companies allow employees to submit match requests for up to 1 year following the date of the donation. Matching gift guidelines are established by each company, and deadlines for submitting a claim can vary from 30 days to more than one year from the gift date.
Heart to Heart International is exempt from federal income taxes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Therefore, your personal contribution is tax-deductible to the full extent provided by law. Your employer may also be able to deduct their portion of the matched gift.
