Laboratories volunteers
Volunteer to Help Start Labs in Underserved Communities.
Many free and charitable clinics resort to sending their patients to larger hospitals or reference labs to collect the samples and run the tests they need to diagnose and treat their patients. Our lab program enlists volunteers to assist us in setting up laboratory testing capabilities within these clinics as we monitor and mentor them for a year to achieve a successful and sustainable laboratory program of their own.
If you have a laboratory background and desire to make a difference by sharing your skills and traveling the U.S., consider applying to be a POC Lab Install volunteer.
